Through dance movements, guided improvisation and Movement Medicine, we invite you to reconnect with your roots, express yourself and discover the joy of moving together. Drawing on African philosophies of community, nature and embodied knowledge, we create space to release, restore and reconnect with ourselves and one another. Come as you are, move at your own pace and experience the body as a resource for wellbeing, connection and transformation. No dance experience needed. All bodies welcome.

Duduzile Voigts is a South African-German-Namibian artist, researcher and initiated healer working across ritual, ecology and embodied knowledge. With a background in dance, psychology, and religious and cultural studies, her practice understands the body as an archive, a place of healing and a way of relating to land, spirit and community. Her artistic journey began in childhood with Indian classical dance, followed by training and artistic practice across Europe, South Africa, India and Brazil, spanning contemporary African dance, dance theatre and movement therapy. Moving between artistic research and ancestral practice, she works with dance, ritual, installation and participatory making to explore sacred femininity, cultural memory and our relationships with the living world. Her work creates spaces for remembering, healing and imagining otherwise. She is a doctoral research fellow at Humboldt University of Berlin, Co-Founder and Cultural Director of Izimpande at A42, and a Movement Medicine teacher.
