Counsellor / Holding Space Circles
Mervin Collin Canham is a dedicated coach and leader, passionate about helping others heal and grow. He’s been part of the ManKind Project (MKP) since 2005, guiding men through powerful weekend experiences in cities like London, Chicago, and Colorado. MKP is a global brotherhood that supports men at all stages of life through deep, transformative work. In South Africa, Mervin has led Boys2Men rites of passage, helping young boys grow into conscious young men. With 16 years of experience supporting people in addiction recovery (and as a recovering addict himself), Mervin now coaches and facilitates group therapy in Johannesburg rehab centres. In 2023, he launched The Holding Space Circles, a project born from his belief in the power of vulnerability and connection. It’s a space where men can speak freely, be heard with compassion, and find strength in community.
