'I am Makhosi Nomkhosi, a healer, dancer, and researcher working at the intersection of ritual, art, and embodied knowledge. Born in Germany in political exile and raised across cultures, I have been shaped by a deep search for belonging, meaning, and ancestral connection'
Initiated at the Credo Mutwa Research Institute for Indigenous Healing, Makhosi walks the path of a modern Sangoma, guided by ancestral calling and committed to restoring relational balance between body, spirit, community, and land.
Her work weaves together dance, ritual, healing and research as living forms of knowledge, pathways through which the body remembers, restores, and reconnects to land, spirit, and community.
As an artist and scholar, she explores how embodied and ancestral practices can guide us through ecological and spiritual crises, offering ways of healing that are rooted, relational, and transformative.
Makhosi has no sessions open for booking right now. Please check back soon.
