'My practice explores African creative hairstyles and braid patterns as an alchemy for identity, weaving rhythms and symbolism that connects cultural motifs to a universal human consciousness. It bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary expression by weaving, hand-stitching hair extensions, wool etc. and utilizing the impasto technique to paint intricate braid patterns that create a rhythmic tactile texture.

Ultimately, my work seeks to bridge the past, present and future by creating a visual language that is centered on beauty, healing, versatility, and the enduring power of human touch.
